Home delivery for the elderly and those with health issues is available. Contact the library for more details. Contactless pick-up from the lobby is also available.

Mission Statement

The Hadley Public Library offers residents of all ages the means to meet their recreational reading, viewing, and listening needs; a place to meet and interact with others in their community; support for students enrolled in local schools; the materials and support to know and better understand their personal or community heritage.

What's New At the Library?

Friends' Annual Book & Bake Sale on May 18th!

The Friends of the Hadley Public Library is hosting their annual fundraiser event, a Bake & Book Sale, on Saturday, May 18th, from 10am to 2 pm. at 50 Middle Street. Anyone wishing to donate baked goods can email Amanda Kirk at rowena28@earthlink.net. In addition to our bargain book donation room, we will have a large selection of better vintage & newer books, as priced, on a wide range of subjects. There will also be a story hour and crafts at 11 am offered for children ages 3-8 yrs. old.  The Friends will have their large canvas tote bags and new bistro mugs at a special sale price. Please join us to support our Hadley community.

In addition to our print subscription, HPL is proud to provide access Consumer Reports Online for Hadley patrons. Access Consumer Reports Online at home or on the go here. You will be prompted to log in using the barcode on your active library card in good standing. For best results set your browser to incognito/private. If you are unable to log in, contact the Library at 413-584-7451 or hpl@hadleyma.org for assistance. Consumer Reports Online can be accessed within the library without logging in.
